Welcome to the MRL Centre.

As a social enterprise of Theatre Emissary International (TEMi), MRL fulfills one of TEMi’s core mandates: research, training, mentoring and consulting. The Mobile Research Lab serves as a hub designed to create a safe space for learning opportunities, artistic exchange, mentoring, and training. MRL is a dynamic e-centre for exchanging ideas and training the next generation of researchers, artists, and scholars in the performing arts across Africa and beyond.

Our Activities.

Consulting services—MRL offers research and training services, particularly in the areas of cultural management, social innovation, policy, strategy, cultural and intelligence, and human resources.
